What finally got me to switch from WS [RIP] to WP(DOS 6) was
        WP's ability to handle fonts!
Alas, WPFI [Font Installer] does *NOT* work like the rest of WP's
modules. Therefore it can't handle all the fonts that this
font hog wants/needs/loves. A recent call to WP/Corel elicited
the admission that Corel products CAN handle large numbers of fonts.
Anyone know whether WPDOS's latest version
can now handle LARGE [1K+!] numbers of fonts?
Oh, and I too run WPDOS under DESQview.
# -- When most of WPDOS6's modules read in "too much" data, they
will write out part of that data to the hard drive. But WPFI is
limited to "conventional" ("the lower 640K") memory. [It has
been suggested that WPFI was purchased rather than developed
in-house. Which, of course, does NOT excuse WP's negligence.]
