 It just get wierder..
 I reversed every itteration of cords.  Same Hum.
 Get this...I can turn off the TV and even unplug the TV, and the hum still
 exists as long as the output jacks from either the TV or VCR are tied to
 either the preamp or amp.  It's like the amp doesn't like the input loading
 presented by the TV.  Any other ideas?
