Unsettled eastern Mediterranean

High pressure and sun in Central Europe. Breezy with drizzle and rain
in the north. East Mediterranean remains unsettled.
Christmas Day Wednesday
Dry and sunny for the Iberia and southern France. Mostly sunny with
showery spells in the Balearics, Sardinia and Corsica. Unsettled for
southern Italy with risk of gales. Greece and Trkiye experience heavy
showers, some thundery in the Aegean Sea and Trkiye's south coast.
North France will see thick cloud which extends into the British Isles.
Cloudy and isolated drizzle for the Low Counties, Germany, Denmark,
Sweden and Poland. Central areas near the Alps will see mostly sunny
conditions. Clouds east and south of Hungary with rain and snow inland
in the Balkans and Romania. Mostly dry but still cloudy in Ukraine and
Belarus.
Patches of brightness and drizzle in the Baltic states. Breezy here
too. Similar conditions into Finland. Norway sees persistent breezy
rain on the west coast with occasional sun spells inland towards
Sweden.
Boxing Day Thursday
Mostly sunny with occasional cloud patches in Iberia. Scattered clouds
east into the Mediterranean with unsettled conditions remaining in
southern Italy and east. Thundery showers continuing in southern Greece
and Trkiye.
Sun spreads into France and Central Germany giving central Europe a
fine day. Sun extends east across the alps towards Slovakia, Hungary,
northern Croatia, and northern Romania. Clouds south of here with
patchy showers.
Clouds persist along the shores of the North and Baltic Seas, mostly
dry. Northeastern Europe remains overcast though quite dry as well.
Showers turn snowy on Norway's west coast, quite windy further north.
Sun in and out for Sweden and Finland, more consistently sunny north.

room for the sun and a chance of fog during the night and morning. There is little wind.

New Year's Eve is a transition to changeable and possibly turbulent weather.
