>> FTS-1 is not needed anymore. DB> You will not get any fight with me on that one and I agree with you DB> BUT, FTS-0001 is the fidonet standard. I was removed from Fidonet DB> just a couple of years ago for running a mailer that did not do DB> FTS-0001 and I thought it was funny that due to I could not do it, I DB> was removed. some years ok can be ok. but not now... DB> I agree, times have changed and fidonet must change also. All DB> policies I have read state FTS-0001 is required. I say change it. DB> Lets move to EMSI since it works fine. Yes. But why should we change the policies. Who cares about the things in a policy which are outdated? There are nodes who only have an ip adress and an binkd running on it. Should they be removed from Fidonet? I think no. We are not in a position to remove some people because they do not meet some less important rules. --- Msged/LNX TE 06 (pre)* Origin: msged te using fidoconfig (2:2432/605.14{at}fidonet) SEEN-BY: 201/0 100 200 209 300 400 407 411 505 600 203/600 204/450 700 205/0 SEEN-BY: 206/0 270/101 490/21 633/267 270 @PATH: 2432/600 200 2433/1200 225 270/101 201/505 633/267 |
