That is a possibility, but I would think Southland Corporation and others
like them pretty well have that market sowed up. Unlike the
Randolph-shepherd program, we would be coming in after the fact. I know of
one member in Colorado who has a store something like that, but it might
rk.
Also, like in Texas wherein a consulting firm helps put up the money so that
the licensing agency can bid on larger food service facilities and then
trains operators to run them. I share the opinion of most operators that
while we would rather these be strictly Randolph-shepherd outlets, it is
better than letting them go to an outside food service provider. But that's
the difference between having a B.E.P. director who believes in blind people
and one who does not.
