-=>While in the White Hart, Suzze Tiernan explained to Fred Runk that<=-
ST> Yes, I know we have another title by her. I guess I'll have to read
ST> it!
What is the title?
ST> Mostly British, which is my least favorite. I do love Ellis Peters. We
ST> just got in Brother Cadfael leather bookmarks which we are giving away
ST> free with the purchase of a Brother Cadfael viseo. (The new series is
ST> out).
Yep, mostly, except for Bayers.
ST> My favorites? Laurie King, Michael Connelly, Sue Henry, Valerie
ST> Wolzien, gosh, I have a million favorites!
I've read two of Laurie King's so far, A GRAVE TALENT (Kate Martinelli, SF
cop) and THE BEEKEEPER'S APPRENTICE (will Mary Russell find romance and
happiness with an eccentric beekeeper in Sussex or something like that).
Frankly I liked A GRAVE TALENT better than the Sherlock Holmes one, and I
liked the Batya Gur book better than either of King's books. I will
definitely read more of Batya Gur and probably read another of King's "Kate
Martinelli" mysteries.
