You should be able to write a Rexx script that invokes ogg123 properly to
play an ogg stream, but the problem will be if the browser can tell it is
an ogg stream as opposed to another format. I haven't tried this, but I
wonder if you can set up two possible programs to chose from for a MIME
type and then select one for MP3 streams and another for ogg streams.
This would all be academic if someone would add streaming support to the
ogg plug-in that is distributed with ogg vorbis for OS/2. As both z! and
PM123 use this plug-in they would both then be able to play ogg streams.
I have asked several times about this and never received an answer.
