When a media and/or reporter obtains a PRESS PASS from the local police
department or sheriff's office, there is an implied (if not actual)
permission for the media and reporters to use the imformation obtained.
Use your noggin and think WHY a law enforcement agency issues press
passes in the first place. And why some will go so far as allow the
media the use of a trucking radio to monitor its dispatches.
Use your noggin and think how the First Amendment takes precedence
over any law of Congress or FCC rule.
