I don't think I understand this. Are you saying the current "400MHz" bus
socket 478 1.3GHz or up Celeron CPU's can be used in some slocket board
in a 440BX chipset motherboard? If so, the change would be due do 400MHz
phaseout in favor of the 533MHz Celerons and the socket 775 replacement
for the socket 478. Also if true, who sells the slockets to fit the 478
chips? If not, are there still some other Celeron chips still available
new besides socket 370? 1.0G or above 100 bus socket 370 Celeron chips
are not cheap anywhere I've looked.
