Good point - I have not installed any patches, and am running patch 1381. 
I have had "no problems" (well - that is evidently not true, but I wasn't
aware this thing with the boxes was one of the bugs the patches had dealt
with), so hadn't installed any patches.  Are the folks with things working
using a later patch?
