To be truthful, I have not read any Sherlock Holmes by Doyle, although
my son has read them all, does that count? I have read Laurie King's
Mary Russell series though.

If you really want to get into Sherlock Holmes, I'd suggest you try to
find a copy of "The Annotated Sherlock Holmes" by William S.
Baring-Gould (it's out of print, but I got mine just yesterday). It has
all the stories, all the Strand's illustrations, discussions on the most
debated subjects (Watson's wives, The Great Hiatus, the real location of
221B etc.) and annotation for everything.

SH> I've always thought that what happens between Lord Peter and Harriet

SH> And I do re-read those four again and again.
Are you ready for "Thrones and Dominations"? We just got an ARC of it,.
