Sean,
After reading that MM is in a Debian package, I had to look at the files
in MM 0.40 DOS to read what they say about OS/2 and LINUX and MM.
Here is a Clip of what I read at the bottom of the README file dated
April 2001.

Tested Systems
--------------
I'd like to get MultiMail tested on as many platforms as possible. I've
personally used it on:
Operating Systems: Linux, Solaris, NetBSD, DOS, OS/2, Windows, BeOS
Processors: i386, Sparc, m68k, Alpha, i86
Compilers: GCC (including DJGPP, EMX, and RSXNT), Compaq Alpha
(w/ GNU make), Borland C++
Libraries: ncurses, Solaris curses, PDCurses
If you get it going on a dissimilar system, please let me know (along with
any necessary patches). Or, let me telnet to your machine, and I'll try
porting it myself. :-)
Credits

MultiMail was originally developed under Linux by Kolossvary Tamas and
Toth Istvan. John Zero was the maintainer for versions 0.2 through 0.6;
since version 0.7, the maintainer is William McBrine
.
Additional code has been contribued by Peter Karlsson, Mark D. Rejhon,
Ingo Brueckl, and Robert Vukovic.
Bug reports and suggestions are noted in the HISTORY file.

I haven't updated MM since it works fine for my uses of it.
I wonder if William McBrine still is the maintainer, would You know?
What version number is the Debian package for MM?
Thanks.
