No, this is not a cheap shot to get you to read the rules... ;-)
Once a year or so, I take a poll of the user happiness in the echo.
This is an opportunity for all of you to speak your mind on issues
that are normally off-topic.
From now through April 10, any and all are free to comment on the
structure of the echo rules, and make comments about the rules and
the performance of the moderator staff. All comments and suggestions
are welcome, and no retribution will be sought for any unfavorable
comments. You may make your contribution via netmail or openly in
the echo.
You must be a user in good standing, and not one who has been asked
to leave the echo. The moderators reserve the right to reply to all
suggestions and comments in either netmail or in the open echo. For
those of you who do not have access to netmail or e-mail, this is
your chance to lay it on me. 
I ask only that you make your comments in a courteous manner. As long
as you abide with courtesy, you will not be punished for any
unfavorable comments you may harbor.
