Well, I work for a living and do not have the time to post an entire book
on this echo.  I will give you the source and you can read up on it
yourself and draw your own conclusions.  "The Big Bang Never Happened" 
by Eric J. Lerner.  Then you may wish to read Hawking's "A Brief History
of Time" to get the other side of the story.  Here is a tip, be critical
of BOTH.

Of course, for I am a human, I have a free mind, and I am not afraid to 
use it.  If you wish to just accept what is told to you without any 
skepticism at all, that is your choice, but do not expect me to have the
same habit.
