I couldn't parse this, you should have used terminology I understand. What
I would have expected to happen was this:
PKT2QWK reads TENMIN.TBL and puts LOCSYSOP messages into area 5 (e.g.)
QWK2PKT reads the WRONG control.dat and puts area 5 messages into SCIENCE.
You copy your .PKT across, and then it gets reprocessed by PKT2QWK.
PKT2QWK reads TENMIN.TBL and puts SCIENCE messages into area 6!!! So you
know you have a problem.
You see, the messages in PKT format have the area name written out in full,
so they can't be confused by area numbers. BFN.
