    Just a note to see if you got the program OK. Noticed your
    failed FREQ (my fault) and sent it over to your BOSS node with a
    note to send it on to you. Again, my apologies (somehow I had
    moved all my file area permissions to a temp dir (??))

    I thank you for your interest in KIS and hope that you find it
    meets your needs.

    For the remainder of you, KIS (or Keep'n it Simple) is a VXREXX
    applet for spawning OS/2 and DOS programs. Using a simple menu
    system to choose the style of window (foreground/background/FS
    or windowed), it will trigger up to 4 batch or CMD files with 5
    triggers each. The main 'engine' is straight REXX and does not
    use a lot of memory. It resides in the background and will spawn
    programs on the presence of a semaphore flag file on intervals
    of two minutes or greater (which can be shortened to as little
    as 2 seconds with a quick hack of the SysSleep call in KIS.CMD).
    Options include logging to a file. Program is $5 to register, or
    postcardware if you don't feel it is worth that . Latest
    version is KIS0894 in which changes where made to correct the
    data line# and addition of INF help files.

    Mainly for use in BBS systems, it can also be used to automate
    simple home tasks also.
