I agree!  If you only want to run your BBS under DOS, it's silly to install
anything but just DOS on your machine.  Both OS/2 and Win95 (and NT for that
matter) are an awfully huge install just to use them for their DOS only.

Yep.  Win95, NT, OS/2... if you have the horsepower, they'll all do Maximus
well, as well as giving you your computer back for YOUR use at the same time.
In fact, I (right now) have both nodes up, I'm writing this in an offline
reader, and have WebEdit, Photoshop 4.01, and Internet Explorer running all
at the same time.    I certainly don't miss the days of DOS/DV.
  (Yes, I'm working on the Maximus web some more... )
