An "internet router" is a switch, and a firewall, and a NAT router, and
a DHCP server, and more. All makers produce models equivalent in
function. Dlink and Linksys in the US provide only 12 month warranties
on all models I inspected. Belkin and Netgear provide considerably
longer warranties, 3 year or 5 year, depending on make and model. I
don't even look at Dlink or Linksys any more. Warranty means a lot to
me.
