 From what I can gather they reckon their future is in embedded
processors (e.g. in cars, printers, mobile phones) where the emphasis is on
low power/cold running rather than absolute performance.

I reckon this is something IBM & Apple should have sorted a while back
as both are commited to high perf computers running on PPC where moto
isn't.
