subject: FTS1 Discussion

As I am currently working on a point-level mailer, this discussion has
caught my attention.

I will not be implementing FTSC1 unless it is *ABSOLUTELY* necassary. To
start with, the Xmodem/Telink/Sealink "klduging" is a real PITA
to implement, especially when you get those non-compliant nodes.

Secondly, *WHO THE HECK* is going to be running a mailer which cannot even
do Wazoo/Yoohoo? Sure, EMSI will be nice, but is there ANYONE out there
running a mailer which CANNOT accept YooHoo calls? If so, please speak.
And, for hevean's sake, UPGRADE.

Hector, I agree with you completely on this issue. It is ridiculous to
require new software to support FTSC1 when it is SERIOUSLY outdated.

Take care,
Anthony
