      Hello Adam,
              I went to the Rockwell web site and didnt see
              anything about a 1 gig/per second modem..
              I DID see a 1 mega bit persecond modem..
              Down stream..and 128k upstream with  Phone
              company installed special equiptment..
              An addaption of the ADSL technology..
              with out the spliter...
              I dont think the phone companys OR
              the ISPs will install them without
              putting a pretty hefty price on the
              users ***US***
