FTS-1 is no better. D'Bridge (for example) refuses to do a telink transfer.
It always expects (and sends) the first block (with SYN - 16h) as Crc, not
checksum (as outlined in fts-1). Try writing a mailer totally "to the
word" of fts-1 and you'll have a mailer that will only work with
BinkleyTerm. :) At the very least, fts-1 should be re-written to reflect
true practice, since a strict fts-1 implementation is basically useless.
