Really?  How many Fidonet-capable systems even have that feature?

That's not really the point.  The point I'm making is that as I'm adding in
echos to my system, I'm finding it rather disheartening how many echos have
plenty of drivel cut & paste from websites, mailing lists, newspapers,
whatever.

I think if the format people wanted was what's out there on websites,
mailing lists, etc., people wouldn't be in the echos.  If everyone cut &
paste every story from every online news site, it'd destroy any bit of
conversation.
