212 in one day. Your more of a man than I. :)

I would like to do that, but the local Trek dealer doesn't carry Trek
roadies. They seem to only believe in the mountains. Go figure, we live in
Kansas.

This is true; however, Cannondale has a new SR500 this year. It has the same
frame as the rest of the line, but has the new Head Shock from Cannondale.
The Head Shock allows for about 12mm of play either way and is adjustable for
weight/stiffness combinations.

Sometimes I feel that power is all there is. I can set out on a nice lesuire
ride and I will end up pushing every hill I come across and never even think
about it until I'm damned near dead. Right now on an OLD Nishiki with some
off the wall components, I average 18.5 MPH on a 62 mile ride. I think this
may have something to do with my trainer though. He ownes an R500 and rides
a steady 19.5 MPH on a century. :)
Thanks for the input. It helps in my decision process.
Sincerely,
