Does anyone hear like Joe Satriani because I hear he's gonna play a concert 
here and I wanna the details.  I myself play the electric ans well as the 
acoustic guitar.  I own a G&L S-500 which is pretty much my main guitar.  I 
do not like alternative music.(sorry to say) I think music is something that 
takes time, discipline, and hard work.  I used to like Nirvana and all that 
shit but when you listen to it it's pretty much crap.  There are guys who 
spend there entire lives practicing and mastering the instrument of guitar 
and they don't even get recognized because MTV doesn't give them the time of 
day.
Guys like George Lynch, Yngwiee Malmsteen,(even though he's an asshole) Steve 
Wariner, Steve Vai, Eric Johnson, and Steve Morse are great.  Those guys are 
great guitarists.  Don't get me wrong, I like metal bands such as Metallica 
and Korn but sometimes you have to give respect to those who have earned it, 
not to those who play just three chords.
