Yo Alex:
TB> It's worth reading...King is slowly getting back on track again!
AB> Well, slowly;). I haven't read the Regulators yet,
AB> but in Desperation only
AB> the first part was worth reading. From then on it got worse and worse.
AB> The cop in the beginning was a really cool idea
AB> though and without that
AB> little prayboy who solved virtually all of the
AB> appearing problems the
AB> story could have been really thrilling ... but so ... too bad
There was a period in my life I couldn't wait for a King novel to hit the
bookstand (and a Bachman novel either) it kept me hungry for more...but then
ever since the Eyes of the Dragon he lost me as a valued reader...I would
read his novels but waited for a used book store to get them in...I haven't
read Delores Clayborne, Gerald's Game and Misery only started the frist few
chapters and put it down.
But with Regulators it held me again...the magic he once had when he pumped
out Stand, Salem's Lot, etc.., was hiding in there and now it brought me back
into the fold...yes Desperation had it's little quirks but the novel is
showing us King in his raw form...:)
