Oh, I always loved Toad! That was a really GREAT ride! I say "was"
because it seems to have changed many times over the years to speed it
up and things and it really doesn't seem the same to me. It alright now,
but really not nearly as good as it used to be back when they took the
TIME to tell you the story.
-> Inner Space" was my wife's favorite ride. Not because she thought it
-> was good, just the opposite: it was so dumb we could smooch without
-> missing anything worthwile.
I never tried that. I went on the ride for the enchantment of it. I
could suspend logic for a short time and actually believe that I was
being shrunk. I lost some tickets once and thought that pershaps they
had not been restored to me after being shrunk. "Inner Space", for me,
could be taken on face-value and still loved.
The first time I showed up at Disneyland when it wasn't there I felt
personally cheated. I felt the Disneyland folks had done something to
ME. I liked the rest of the park, but something great was missing.

I am not much of a camera person. Before my wife bought a camcorder I
did not shoot pictures at Disneyland. My wife might have a few photos
from a trip we took in 1993, 'though.
