TR> system. The last example I can think of was humorous in a way.
TR> This 40 year old child with an 8 year old brain decided to play
TR> policeman, and he caught a few folks who didn't need to be caught.
TR> Several officers on the department tried to help him almost daily,
TR> and I guess he got stuck in a fantasy. We solved the problem by
TR> giving him daily assignments. It was obvious that he had downs
TR> syndrome, and most folks were very understanding. I guess it takes
TR> all kinds of folks to make up the world, and I bet there is a
TR> purpose for each one of them.
In other words you and your friends allowed your human side overlook
the fact someone was impersonating a police officer? Somewhere, you
guy realized you had a harmless non-normal person doing things, and
the best way to solve the problem was to humor him, and keep him out
of trouble. Very commendable! There's other's who would have been
wrapped up so tight in the law, they would have burdened the public
with the expense of prison or an even more expensive hospital.
