MP*>>Boy this echo has been dead... no posts since Jan 15th.

MP*>That would be about the time that my local cable company dropped the one
MP*>station that carried the show in syndication. It was always on at dinner
MP*>time, so I got to see a full hour of the shows from the "good
ole days"
MP*>of the Simpsons. There was a dispute over the cost of carrying the
MP*>station, so they dropped them.

MP*>There was another station that carried a half-hour of the syndicated
MP*>episodes a little later in the evening, but they also disappeared from
MP*>our cable lineup sometime not long before the other station did. :(

I have Direct TV and one of the WB stations carries it at 6 and 7 PM EDT
monday thru Friday. Some of the eposodes are from the very first
season. I will not have cable TV it is too expensive for what you get.
I enjoy not having to argue with the cable company every month about why
they removed a good channel and added something like LOGO and raised the
price [this is what one of the local cable copanies did and the other
followed suit].
