Not too much interest in this at the old RMB, but the DC5 induction
into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame tonight is a milestone for me.

No, they weren't the Beatles, but they charted better than most during
the early days of the British Invasion and they gave me and my junior
high band mates a lot of tunes to cover at sock hops (remember those?)
and such.

Ed Sullivan liked 'am - a lot....

Word has it that Jann Weiner kept them out for years, bowing to his
funk, rap and hip hop constituency.

But at last, and alas without Mike Smith, they will get their due
tonight.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated at this revered outpost
called RMBM....

Especially the reculsive Dave Clark...who is older than RINGO!
