On 06/15/16, Allen Prunty said the following...
AP> The QWK tosser tossed over 20,000 messages (max size of my host's QWK
AP> pkg) in less than 2 seconds time stamping all of the messages the same
AP> date... now that's blinding fast, and I'm sorry gooroo but having 20,000
AP> messages all the same date messes with my OCD rattling me to the core.
AP> Hard for me to gage when the message was posted as some of the bases
AP> from that host are very active some aren't and if I answer an OLD
AP> message the participants scream at me for replying to old messages.
AP> Plus 2 of my 15 users have noticed it too.
I did notice that too when I first setup and asked about it. It's something I
don't notice anymore since I do a qwkpoll 6 times a day the dates are very
close to the posting date.
If I understood g00r00 correctly he is going to change that in A20 when
polling a qwk hub so it won't be an issue anymore.
It'll still behave the same when a user uploads a QWK packet and that's good
because there are QWK apps like bluewave (at least in QWK mode) that are Y2K
broken. There are fixes for that but we will be good whether the fix is
applied or not.
Ttyl :-),
