Michiel, I blew the conversion. My telephone line which costs me $29.65
Canadian would cost me $18.62 in Euros.

Since in fact I only pay EUR $18.62 for my telephone access and pay nothing
for local calls in addition to that, I do rather well.

Don't think you do that well. For EUR 61.88, I get my telephone connection,
no local call charges and ADSL. I do have to pay for long distance calls
on top of that but they are now cheap as borscht.
