Right indeed. (-:

However, it is even more complicated:

On my main system:
My 3 scsi jaz devices have immediately the drive letters immediately
after the "real" hard disks...

"F".

... and after inserting an USB stick, I'm getting a worthless "floppy
drive" drive, and only after
clicking onto "Refresh removeable media" I'm getting the real thing
(while the floppy drive symbol remains).

HOWEVER, On my TP41 laptop (the very same eCS1.2 installed):

- at boot up, my scsi Jaz, like as at my main system comes up
immediately after the last "real" harddisk (again, as it should).
- at boot up the (same) USB stick gets it's drive letter only after a
click onto "Refresh removeable media". And here I don't get that
annoying floppy drive letter prior to the USB drive letter.

Both systems do have exactly the same config.sys entry:

BaseDev=USBMSD.ADD /floppies:0 /removables:6 /force_to_removable /v

Bottom line is me thinks, USB removable disks support under eCS is still
rather unstable.
