HOWEVER, On my TP41 laptop (the very same eCS1.2 installed): - at boot up, my scsi Jaz, like as at my main system comes up immediately after the last "real" harddisk (again, as it should). - at boot up the (same) USB stick gets it's drive letter only after a click onto "Refresh removeable media". And here I don't get that annoying floppy drive letter prior to the USB drive letter. Both systems do have exactly the same config.sys entry: BaseDev=USBMSD.ADD /floppies:0 /removables:6 /force_to_removable /v Bottom line is me thinks, USB removable disks support under eCS is still rather unstable. -- Groeten uit Gent, Kris ------------------------ Yahoo!
