I don't know if what I will say will convince you to change, but there
are a few things that InJoy can do that DOIP flat out can't.
One of these is Dial On Demand. That means that I can run something
like the RC5 or DES encryption challenges, and as they finish with the
set of blocks, automatically dial up the Internet, exchange finished
blocks for new ones, and then proceed on, all without manual
intervention from me. By the same token, I can just start up Post Road
Mailer or Netscape, and when the program sends out the connect request,
it will dial automatically. This can also be used over a network from
what the documentation says. This means that one modem could be shared
by a network.
Another is IP masquerading. This goes along with Dial On Demand to
enable sharing InJoy with a LAN. Someone who has a LAN will have to
tell you how well this works.
Other nice features are automatic redial as well as the ability to have
multiple phone numbers if an ISP is so set up.
Some of these features are not availble at the basic registration level
(Dial on Demand, for instance), but at the intermediate level.
For the best information, you should download the program and read the
documentation. It will explain the capabilities far better than I can.

Stephen
