I invite you to try it out and make an evaluation for yourself.  As
with most add-ons they are just things to make life a little easier.
The biggest advantage (but not the only feature) is the ease it allows
you to automate dialup functions.  Yes, DOIP can do it too but if you 
aren't big into writing or modifying REXX scripts things like In-Joy and 
iLink/2 are a blessing.

As with most everything else, the choice is left up to you.  I like
it, I use it but I'm certainly not concerned about what you use on your
computer.
