Thanks for the reminder. THAT was a good rig. It was modeled on the
broadcast transmitter. Bet you didn't know that all Collins AM broadcast
band transmitters could be retuned to operate on the shortwave bands.
Many countries also license their broadcasters to a short wave freq. for
coverage of the entire country. I should more correctly say "used" to.
I've been out of touch. That was before networking (telephones that
actually worked) was possible and before satellite link ups.
