Wrong movie... it was "Snow White" that was said to be closely held by
the Disney family to not be released.  It _was_ in fact released for a
limited time two years ago.  "Sleeping Beauty" _has_ been released once
to home video.  See my reply to "Bea" in another thread for more
discussion about Disney home video releases.  :-)  A couple of movies
have never been released to home video in the United States:  "The
Black Cauldron" and "Song of the South".  You can buy "Song of the South"
on Japanese laser disc from some importers (It has Japanese subtitles)
or in PAL format overseas (US format is NTSC).  I have heard (don't know
from direct experience) that Disney is seeking to stop import of SotS.
