Hi I was wondering if anyone would have an answer as to why my chain jumps 
from the larg chainring to the small one every time I hit a hard bump. I have 
Chorus Ergo brake/gears. I tried taking some links off the chain to no avail. 
I was wondering if there was a problem with the the ratchet in the brake 
lever. Find it difficult to believe this could be a problem since I do not 
use it as much as the lever for the rear derailleur.
Also I'm not sure if everyone is aware of the new groups that are coming out 
for '97. There will be a nine speed freewheel which will actually weigh less 
than the '96 model! I was wondering if it would be possible to exchange a '94 
freewheel to replace it with the '97? Would there be a problem with the 
derailleur?
