Do you mean if you start z! you cannot listen to anything?  I start
z!.  Then press 'h' and type something in.  Type in jazz and you
get a list.  Press h, type in blues, you get another list.  Same
with news.

download the latest and press F1.  There are 3 pages of commands. 
I have no problem listening to one of my favorite Saturday shows on
PBS from Penn State, about 2500 miles away from here.

I have not tried to set it up as a helper for Moz.  I just start z!
and go from there.  It accepts url's too, if you know the one that
is streaming shoutcast.
