BV> Yes, I know about "twit" filters, but I don't want to put
BV> anyone on a "twit" list because even a total moron can be fun
BV> sometimes. Witness Tony Antoniou, even he was fun :)
BL> I *thought* I recognised that name from somewhere! Is he the guy in
BL> the Sunday Telegraph, last weekend? They had an article of computer
BL> wizards, with a photograph of Tony Antoniou as a `self-taught techno
BL> whiz'. I quote:

WHAT !!! YOU ARE KIDDING !!! I HOPE !!! He is a TOTAL MORON !!!

BL> "When Tony was 14 he landed a part-time job as a sales assistant in
BL> a Lewisham Electronics company where his `techno-wise' reputation grew
BL> rapidly..."

AAARRRGGGHHH !!!!! Where do they find these guys :(

BL> And here comes the really good part:
BL> "In a few weeks I had learned how to repair TVs, VCRs, refrigerators,
BL> and other household items," he said.

Oh my God...It's real...Yeah, that would be him.
He told us how he got his job at Sony...He was there doing work
experience and he wandered into the service area where a tech was
stumped by a fault that he had been working on for hours. Tony tells
how he "helped" the guy find the problem in 2 minutes...
Give me a break please.

BL> ROFL! A 14-year-old kid learns all about service in a fortnight!

And within a month he is designing stuff for Sony !

BL> "I guess I was born with a mind for electronics..."

But, he can't even spell it

BL> There was a lot of other funny stuff in the article, but that was
BL> the bit that made me fall off the chair and pee in my pants.
BL> Is this *your* Tony Antoniou?

probably...Sadly these idiots seem to be the sort that get ahead.
Hey, it just hit me...maybe they give head to get ahead !

Depressingly yours, Brenton
