CA> I can't logically fathom how, under our original constitution, that CA> the government can take away your right to put that CD or DVD into CA> anything you want to including your toaster. My country embarasses CA> me frequently. RJT> Not "the country", but "the government"! At all levels... They is US! We let "them" get away with it all. And, even when we KNOW how bad they really are, we RE-elect them!! We embarass me frequently. CA> With home DVD players that now play DVD, CD-DA, and MP3 it is just CA> a short hop to auto CD players that play MP3s. RJT> Sure. I was of the impression that such stuff was out the on the RJT> market n for single discs. I guess the difference between that and RJT> the setup I was referring to was a couple of weeks of constant play RJT> with no repetition. : IIRC, the Route 66 setup held 500 full albums. It could search by genre, group, tempo, song, or album. It scrolled the title and songs on one line, and the group and any notes that you added on another line while the song played. They were just getting started working on an RF link to update the car PC from the house PC. BTW, there are CD changers that will play MP3's. Some are even factory installed. TTYL.
