 Just switch to Optus and protest to AUSTEL which governs Telstra.
 Protesting to your M.P is just wasted time and effort. Telstra
 is simply acting for the Government who want total control of the information
 highway for their own new systems.
 From personal experience with Telstra I know they dont have much interest
 unless you tell them you are going to AUSTEL. I did and got a large refund from
 from Telstra.
 So I hope ALL SYSOPS go to the only body that can dictate to Telstra and
 that is AUSTEL.
