Pack-rat is good. Tossing to landfill is bad. I love the concept 
of "garage sales" where people load all the junk stored in their 
garage or attic and lay it on a table in the street, Passers pick 
up and pay for useful stuff. As they say on the cross-channel 
ferry "One man's meat is another man's poisson" (vbg!). 
Note how I used "vbg!) twice ? (hah hah)
