Disney Radio is only heard in four cities in the U. S. now: Birmingham,
Alabama; Atlanta, Georgia; Salt Lake City, Utah and Minneapolis,
Minnesota. It's a mix of contemporary hits, oldies, Disney music and
children's programming, heard only on AM radio stations in those four
cities. Even though Disney owns radio stations since they merged with
Cap Cities/ABC earlier this year, they are conducting the radio network
program experiment on small AM stations in four cities, at least for now.
They'll probably be fine tuning the programming in response to audience
likes/dislikes in the weeks and months ahead. If you like what you hear,
Robby, call the radio station and let them know. It helps Disney to
entertain you better to get the feedback. :-)
Can you describe in more details what the programming and shows are
like? I'me very curious about it! Thanks in advance, Robby!
