Thanks Adam. You have saved me the trouble of producing a knock-out blow
for Gene.

This situation (arguing about viruses) reminds me of that ancient joke: A
maths professor is giving a lecture to 200 students. Scratching on the
chalk board (I told you it was an old joke), he says "Proposition B
obviously follows from proposition A".

He then stares at the board, silently scratching his head. He leaves the
room. He returns in half an hour and triumphantly announces, "Yes! It
*is* obvious!".

Anyway, Gene dismisses we "Not alive" people, with all our
childish URL referernces. "Viruses are obviously alive!", he
says, there is no doubt.
