I was taking Zyrtec, which was a wonderful experience: as you say, all/most of my allergy symptoms went away (I am sensitive to pollen spring, summer and fall). Same thing: insurance mandated my switch to OTC; I use Alavert and it works fine (it and Claratin are both AFAIK loratidine (sp?) but Alavert is a smidge cheaper here). Same general effect as Zyrtec: a few leakers (mildly itchy eyes for a few days in spring, a few good sneezes now and then) but nothing on the scale of what I used to suffer. -- Steve http://www.qmss.com/~sewing --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-4* Origin: Barktopia BBS Site http://HarborWebs.com:8081 (1:379/45) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 379/45 1 633/267 |
