I'm still debating on it...but the long drive, and road construction
turns me off. Yet, the 2 seasons on the road are "winter" and
"construction". :P
I think the Freefest at Bartlett will be on Saturday, April 8. I'll
have to get with Rick Pinelli, KA2BSM, on that. I didn't think to ask
him about that on the MDARC D-Star/D-Rats Net last night.
A few years ago when I went there, I won one of those big batteries.
But, I donated it to a local ham radio club, since I could not use it
where I live. The club used it to power their entire Field Day setup
that year.
