Curds, Kurds, same difference right?

 From all I can see Israel is attacking the country of Lebanon using
Hezbollah as a pretext. Just when Lebanon was finally putting itself back together :(

I don't know why, but for some reason I keep thinking that Syria is the key
to what's motivating Israel. Hezbollah are nasty bastards, no doubt, but
they were getting dragging into the mainstream political arena, much like
Sinn Fein, and that was the best chance to get them to calm down. For some
reason Israel doesn't want that to happen. Lebanon as a no-man's land
buffer zone?
