Rubbish. Complete Hogwash.

A) The UN force was not there to disarm Hezbollah but to observe the border
just as the UN force in the Sinai is there to observe the Israel-Eqypt
border.

B) In an age of precision warfare this was not collateral damage

C) The US is responsible for the UN mission profiles in this area as it
vetoes anything the Israelis don't like & all the Israelis wanted was
an "observer" force in both Lebanon & Egypt in case they ever
decided to re-invade (as they have done now with Lebanon & who knows
may do wrt Egypt).

But hey no one ever accused you of possessing knowledge.
