I don't think, it's a dumb question ;)
After reading this mail, I tried the box-mode, too. No success! The "L" is
in the status line, but moving the cursor around doesn't paint any box
sign at all.
Using TSE/32 v2.8 with German NT Workstation v4 SP3.
I don't have problems with the mouse. Running TSE/32 in a window 80x44.

Subject: Box mode under NT
This is probably a "dumb question", but I am still new to NT, so
please be patient ;-) ... In tsepro (2.8) I no longer can draw boxes
using the box mode: the "L" does appear on the status line, but no
boxes. This in full screen or picture mode, and I did check to see if
the box was there even though I couldn't see it (by saving the file and
then printing it.) This is one of a few small irritations when I switched
to NT from DOS (and Win3.1) - the other is no mouse except in full screen
mode. (In Win3.1, if the cursor was inside the window, the mouse worked
as if in the editor, but under NT it remains a "NT mouse" and has no
effect in the editor.) Now, I can live with this, but if it's just a
matter
of choosing a right font or encoding (I'm referring to the lack of boxes)
a hint of what I ought to do would be appreciated. (Hey, if you can
give me back my mouse in tse that'd be nice too - I used the right button
to "unpick" things, which is quicker than U.)
Thanks for what help is possible,
